Draft: not yet in force
Knock hasn’t opened to the public yet. This page will take effect once it includes the legal name of who runs Knock, the company number, a postal address, a contact email address, the ICO registration number, where the database is hosted and the date these terms take effect.
If someone is in danger, call 999 now. For anything else, here’s how to reach us.
Reach us
Email [email]. Post: [company name], a company registered in England and Wales (company number [company number]), [postal address].
To report a party or a person, the report button in the app is quickest. it tells us exactly what you mean. Reports are never shown to the person you reported.
Making a complaint
You can complain to us about any of these:
- something you’ve seen on Knock, including anything you think is illegal;
- how we handled a report you made;
- content of yours we removed, or an account we suspended or closed;
- anything about how we use your personal information;
- anything else about Knock.
Email [email] with “Complaint” in the subject, say what happened, and include links or screenshots if you can. This is what happens next:
- We acknowledge it within 30 days at the latest, and usually much sooner.
- We look into it properly and without undue delay, and keep you updated if it takes a while.
- We tell you what we decided and why. If we got something wrong (for example, we removed something that was fine), we put it right.
If your complaint is about your personal information and you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. See also our privacy policy.
